The Game Capture School is the first comprehensive school in South Africa that offers courses that focus on the theoretical and practical aspects of all forms of wildlife conservation and education.

Capture, hand rearing and care of infant and orphaned animals are our passion.

New Boma Facility

New wildlife boma facility where practical aspects of courses take place.

Since 2001, our school has successfully trained more than a thousand people from different countries.

Supporting the education and practice of wildlife handling and care, our courses are aimed at minimising animal stress and mortalities.

Our Immobilization course for Veterinarians is the only course in South Africa that has been accredited by the South African Veterinary Council.

What makes our courses unique? Apart form the practical, hands-on approach, you will also:

bullet 1

work in our Wildlife Hospital and help with the rearing and care of baby wild animals.

bullet 1

learn all about applied pharmacology (conservation medicine).

bullet 1

learn safe, humane methods of wildlife management, handling, capture and    translocation.

bullet 1

learn to dart wild animals from a helicopter.
